Been long since I wrote a story or a drabble. Here goes, one based off a friend's story.

You see him at the bus stop, your bus stop. He turned, and for a moment, your eyes lock. You wish to continue this game, but he drops it and looks away.
You see him next near your workplace. You look at him, and decides to offer a smile. He looks at you... as if studying you, and then he turns away, muttering to himself. You are disappointed. You tell yourself it will never work, and you decide to finally believe that girls should never make the first move.
You complain, you rant. Everyone tries to appease you, telling you that perhaps, it is just a passing fancy, and you will get over it. You know it isn't true, but you nod your head at their words. You offer up prayers, you consult your mother, you asked for guidance. Their words help, but it isn't enough. You finally decide to just observe him from afar, and although it hurts and your heart burns, it is enough.

Then one day, on a day where everything just went wrong, you spot him at the bus stop. You quickly turned away, perhaps thinking that it is just your luck, that nothing is going to happen when he walks up to you and says one word, which just melts you.
"Hi."
And it is enough.

If I were to not lie to myself, I would honestly say that I am ready to leave here, this place. A new employee has come, and she is the one who will be helping her a lot, as this is her line of work. I trust that my workload will decrease very significantly. On one hand, I am glad, as I can write out things like this or have ideas formulating in my mind. Yet... on the other hand, I dislike having nothing to do, as the time will pass really slowly. It's like my S job all over again, except for that time, I could surf the net and catch up on my movies and television shows.

These few days, as the last day of my contract approaches ever so slowly, I constantly count the amount of things I have on the table in which they are mine, and I can bring it home. The amount is nearly always the same...six. Will I miss the place? Yes, for sure. Will I miss the people? ... I guess. Will I miss the environment? Definitely. This is way different as compared to that job. Here, I do more work... although it can be quite lax at times, such as now. It is only 9.36am and I am bored out of my mind. In order not to fall asleep as my eyes are threatening me to, I am writing this.

Thrown out,
Left alone,
The darkness can't help but seep in.
And yet I implore,
For You the King,
to save me from this big mess.

My horrible attempt at poetry writing ^.

I wish so dear,
for you so far,
to come with me,
at so low a fee.

^ I don't even... I just can't.

An open letter to you

Hi, you.

How long has it been since we've known each other? To be honest, when you first said hi and asked if I remember you the first time we talked, I was quite shocked as I didn't expect to see anyone I know. It's nearing December now, and although we haven't spoke much, each conversation is a treasure.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could spend an evening together and just talk, so I can get to know you better and you me? How possible is it when our past conversations were short but to the point? All it took was a smile, a wave and a sentence.

It's nice to know when each time you see me, you stopped and waved, I remember vaguely when we were at there. You were just walking past the room, I noticed. You looked into the room, perhaps due to curiosity, and upon seeing me, paused, waved and greeted. Maybe it's just due to manners, but it's actually a sweet thing to do... to me, at least.

I have no idea what you think of me as, but I really would love to carry out a conversation with you. However, it's a little difficult, considering the fact that it seems that when I want to converse with you, you give me short answers. When you talk to me, on the other hand, I try to talk more. Hopefully, we will be able to reach that step one day where we can hold long conversations and not notice the time passing.

From,
Me :)

For people who do not know me, my ultimate bias in K-Pop is Girls' Generation's Seohyun, be it male or female.

Alright, now that I have gotten it out, I have to ask. What's wrong with liking a female singer, even if I am a female? Why is it that when I point out I like Seohyun, I get weird looks? And people will start asking me, "don't females normally like male singers/groups?" Well, I don't.

Actually, before I decided to post this, I had been thinking. My first ever favourite Mandopop singer was Angela Zhang, and my first ever favourite English singer was Britney Spears. Wait, they're still my favourite out of the rest, but I don't follow them much.

Maybe I'm just unique. But is it a crime that I prefer female singers to male singers? Alright, originally, I preferred Lin Jun Jie for Mandopop and SHINee from K-Pop. However, I switched over to the female singers after about 3-6 months of liking them. It's not that I no longer like them or their music, but I just prefer the female singers. And, they're prettier too, though that does not matter.

And FYI, I AM STRAIGHT. <--- This is for people who thinks that I'm not straight just because I prefer female singers.

Simple and sweet smiles.

Just some thoughts..

The moment when someone sees you, and lets a smile grace their face, and you know that the smile is just for you, and for you alone.

Isn't it sweet when that happens? Seeing that smile, just reserved for you, is so heartwarming. It could be from a loved one, or even just an acquaintance. The other day, I received a smile and a wave from an... acquaintance, you could say? It's not like I expected this acquaintance to come up and say hi, but it's just sweet. We had talked a few times before, but we weren't close. It's not like I like like this acquaintance, but as the quote states, a smile can go a long way. A smile can make one happy the whole day :) For me, I can be an awkward and insecure person, so a smile to me, can mean that the person welcomes me, and although we may not talk, the person is glad to see me.

Excerpt 3

The clock chimed and she glanced at the time. Was it only 2PM? Outside, the sun was glaring and she quickly pulled down the blinds. No point in getting a headache, or worst, a migraine. As the minutes ticked by slowly, she sighed and grabbed a nutrition bar from the cupboard. Peeling open the wrapper, she took a bite, hoping that eating it will keep her awake. Realizing it was to no avail, she wondered if a little doze will be alright. After all, she was tired and unable to function.

Excerpt 2:

Their love was always sweet. People who heard their stories would always sigh happily as if that story was really theirs, and even the guys will wonder why didn't they think of the idea first. Maybe it was the general public opinion, but to her, she felt empty. It seemed just like a cover, a play, a beautiful cliche movie. They had been chased to get married quickly, which they did, under much pressure. Perhaps it was the pressure, but then again, what if it was not?

He was like Prince Charming, always treating her like she was made out of glass and the love in his eyes was intense. She sometimes wondered if he could see the sadness in her eyes, as she thought about the other guy... the one she missed, the one she loved... still love. Shaking her head, she tried to erase the thoughts as he entered the room. He rose a quizzical eyebrow, but she could only offer a faint smile. As they lay together in bed that night, she wondered why this felt like cheating.
