For people who do not know me, my ultimate bias in K-Pop is Girls' Generation's Seohyun, be it male or female.

Alright, now that I have gotten it out, I have to ask. What's wrong with liking a female singer, even if I am a female? Why is it that when I point out I like Seohyun, I get weird looks? And people will start asking me, "don't females normally like male singers/groups?" Well, I don't.

Actually, before I decided to post this, I had been thinking. My first ever favourite Mandopop singer was Angela Zhang, and my first ever favourite English singer was Britney Spears. Wait, they're still my favourite out of the rest, but I don't follow them much.

Maybe I'm just unique. But is it a crime that I prefer female singers to male singers? Alright, originally, I preferred Lin Jun Jie for Mandopop and SHINee from K-Pop. However, I switched over to the female singers after about 3-6 months of liking them. It's not that I no longer like them or their music, but I just prefer the female singers. And, they're prettier too, though that does not matter.

And FYI, I AM STRAIGHT. <--- This is for people who thinks that I'm not straight just because I prefer female singers.

Simple and sweet smiles.

Just some thoughts..

The moment when someone sees you, and lets a smile grace their face, and you know that the smile is just for you, and for you alone.

Isn't it sweet when that happens? Seeing that smile, just reserved for you, is so heartwarming. It could be from a loved one, or even just an acquaintance. The other day, I received a smile and a wave from an... acquaintance, you could say? It's not like I expected this acquaintance to come up and say hi, but it's just sweet. We had talked a few times before, but we weren't close. It's not like I like like this acquaintance, but as the quote states, a smile can go a long way. A smile can make one happy the whole day :) For me, I can be an awkward and insecure person, so a smile to me, can mean that the person welcomes me, and although we may not talk, the person is glad to see me.
